In this Vook, inventive videos complement the text of The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin — the traditional name for the unfinished record of his own life written by Franklin from 1771 to 1790. However, Franklin himself appears to have called the work his Memoirs. Although this biography took years to actually become published after Franklin’s death, this work has become one of the most famous and influential examples of autobiography ever written.

I have never done it before. I have written plenty of fiction stories, but I’m clueless how to begin a biography. Any good tips? Thank you to all who help!
I would be writing someone else’s biography. I don’t know how long it would be. Maybe a book though.
Do you mean an autobiography? Try reading a few. I have read a number in recent months and find that they are fairly similarly structured. Something really interesting to get the reader started, then usually back to childhood, and on from there. I’m hoping to write one myself one of these days and plan to start by writing little stories first, little biographies of important people in my life, then looking at how I can put them all together into a cohesive whole. Or not.

I need to read a biography and then write an essay on a controversial person. This person can be almost anyone, but I have no idea who to pick. And suggestions are welcome. If it isn’t obvious or well known, let me know why the person is considered controversial.
Thanks to everyone!
Hmm…I think Adolf Hitler could be a good choice. I mean, some people think his ideas were good ( I don’t) but they say he went about putting them into action the wrong way, which we all know is true. lol
But his methods have caused a lot of controversy even in today’s society
I am doing an extra as level this year and its basically on anything you want. Mine is on the life of Cleopatra and I really need some detailed books to learn from!
I used a booked called Cleopatra A biography by Micheal Grant. It was really used full and explanatory, hope it helps! and good luck.

Preserve what’s special about the ones you love so their story can be shared anew with future generations. Here are four individual stories (all excerpts from longer biographies): a frenchman describes what life was like during German occupation, an italian mother talks about coming to America and raising her son. One Hollywood’s first female television producers describes her achievements and interactions with Dean Martin. Another immigrant discusses raising his family in the United States during the 60s. give me some suggestions how to successfully write a biography (in my case, william shakespeare) without your paper being entirely of in-text citations?
This is a good question! One thing you might opt to do is to consider the significance of Shakespeare’s impact on different aspects of society both in the past and in the present. Here are some questions that may help you out:
What or who affected Shakespeare’s early years? Why do you think so based on your research?
What did Shakespeare do that was significant/different from other playwrights in reference to acting, productions, and playwrighting? Why was it significant, in your opinion?
How does Shakespeare continue to impact society? (conclusion material)
Hope this helps!

We have to write a biography about an American figure who existed before 1877, preferably someone who was around when we were first beggining to colonize on the east coast. Like John Adams for example.
I don’t really remember much of anything about any of those guys though. So if someone could maybe tell me a person who you think would be interesting to write about and maybe tell me 1 or 2 reasons why they are interesting.
Thanks!
Aaron Burr who was an American politician, Revolutionary War hero, and adventurer. He served as the third Vice President of the United States (1801–05) under Thomas Jefferson. He also shot and killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel.
